The Al Dhafra region in Abu Dhabi, home to UAE’s natural resources, is currently readying a massive housing and infrastructure project worth more than AED1 billion. The project, being implemented as part of the country’s plans to provide quality housing to citizens, is mainly coming up in the residential areas of Madinet Zayed and Liwa in the region. The projects, serving 1,421 residences, were reviewed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, on Wednesday, WAM reported.
The housing, road and other infrastructure projects are being implemented by the Al Dhafrah Region Municipality in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.
Al Nahyan praised the UAE’s continuous efforts to provide quality housing to all citizens, in line with the highest sustainability standards and the most recent technologies.
“The UAE seeks to provide all Emirati citizens with modern housing modelled after the highest living standards that fulfill their needs and contribute to ensuring their social stability,” he said during the tour.
